Christmas

T eventually shaved the base of the Christmas tree so its could fit in to its holder.  J and I came over to decorate it in the afternoon and look at Granny's decorations and the home knitted Crib that comes out every year.  Then we ate mini mince pies and did jigsaw puzzles and played Connect 4.

In the evening I went with D and S to my neighbours' large Christmas party which was fun except one can never hear what people are saying with all that background noise!  A lot of the village were there and other people from further afield.
