Chaos and Calm

Normally if I go to Sainsbury’s at 8am on a Saturday morning it’s fairly quiet. Today, the last Saturday before Christmas, it was packed. Chaos. I had a quick look around the clothing department on the first floor, bought some trousers, and then entered the fray to get the week’s groceries. After fuelling up at the petrol station, I beat a hasty retreat to spend the day peacefully at home. It was a real treat not to have stuff to do for a change.

Devoid of any inspiration for a blip, I took a walk around Tiptree when darkness had fallen to see if there were any lights to get excited about. There weren’t. I thought this front door further down my road looked quite Christmassy, though my photo of it isn’t very good. Must try harder tomorrow!
