Meeting Father Christmas

Today F and I went to Hawkstone Park to visit Father Christmas.  After hot chocolate, we went to the cave in a 4x4 vehicle where we weremet by elves and walked through the grotto which was beautifully decorated with everything Christmassy.  

There were games to play and a go on the slide which entailed putting a present in the basket.  There was also chocolate or Christmas pudding flavoured popcorn.

Eventually we met Father Christmas who listened to I's hopes for presents.  Luckily she was told that she'd been good so will get a visit (Phew!)

We then went to where an elf was giving out presents.  I had a fluffy walruss and E had a fish with big teeth which had a scary resemblance to a piranha!  We then returned to base in the 4x4.
