Just hanging around

Waiting for Christmas on the tree.  An emergency blip of a couple of decorations on the tree.  Father Christmas is one from a box of wooden decorations which my mother brought back from a holiday in Germany.  My brother M had a box too.  The glitterball is probably early 1970s.

This afternoon I did most of my Christmas food shopping and it wasn't as busy as I'd expected as I didn't go at a  popular time.  I still need to go and get a few things that need a longer use by date but it's a relief to have most of it done.
