We had a lovely evening with our pals. A superb meal, plenty of wine and a catch up on their recent travels in Europe.

Just, perhaps, JR maybe should not have suggested a nightcap, and a bottle of Drambuie was produced…

Today was freezing cold and blowing a hoolie. As predicted, but it must have been quite a shock for the Aussies, who have had mild dry weather as they wandered around Europe. But hopefully, it’s going to turn milder next week.

Archie and I walked over the Links to collect my dry cleaning, and it seems to have fixed the marks on the velvet! Jings it was freezing!

JR, after two gym sessions, went into town. The Aussies had a lie in, then wandered in to the city. They’re due round for tea soon - cooked last week, defrosted and simmering in the slow cooker as we speak. JR is so organised
