Northern Flying squirrel

On our bird table this evening. What a unique unusual being to discover. They were completely ignoring husband and the dogs and I. They are purely nocturnal and have their built in squirrel flying suit. This one we only saw munching away on the sunflower seeds. We had quite a lot of unexpected snow this afternoon. Made it to kickboxing class and back no bother. Arrived home to no power which meant we had to do the old fashioned wash with cloth and bowl of warm water but it worked fine and jetboil deployed for evening cup of tea too. Made it an adventure at home too.
