Life is difficult

Went by at Andreas today, another friend from when living life here in Chania.

Last year I found him in dispair and mournig after the death of his beloved sister, with whom he could share his thoughts. Today I learned he also has lots of sorrows and pain from his children who molested him and took his money. I couldn't believe my ears, but understood why I didn't see them around now and neither a year ago; he then even had his taverna closed. 
It was heartwarming to see he accepted my invitation for making a portrait of him! See extra.
