The Swan Plant…..

This plant is growing wild in the Taylor River Reserve. I photographed it and sent photos to the Facebook app “Plant Identification New Zealand”…… a very useful app with helpful and knowledgeable members. I learned that the plant is the “Swan Plant”. The flowers are tiny and intricate, just delightful. In due course caterpillars will live and feed off the leaves before becoming beautiful butterflies. Nature is amazing. I will observe this plant over the next few months and document its cycle. Great Blip material.
