The Boxer & The Fisherman...
The little gonk paintings for N's boys are finally finished and framed. Phew!
Up early again as D was heading to Dunbar to play golf and I wanted to be around for Nick (kitchen fitter) incase he had any questions.
LeeAnne and I enjoyed toast with Lorne sausage and potato scone before she headed off just after 12.30 to fit in a job with a client near her parents before dropping in to see her mum and dad. A good use of time :-)
Made Nick coffee and gave him a plate of Christmas cakes and biscuits. Got to look after wonderful tradesmen, worth their weight in gold.
Finally got my Christmas cards written. I'm only sending to close family and family and friends we don't see very often so it didn't take long. Also got the Team's vouchers and chocolates sorted and through to their living room so they can pick them up when they come in over the next few days.
Managed to get an hour to continue making some little crochet decs. Nick left just before 5pm and I was very patient and waited for D to get back from Dunbar before investigating the progress. One wall has the base units, wall cupboards, hob, oven, cooker, cooker hood and work top fitted. Really happy with it so far.
Pizza for dinner. Trying to make space in the freezer for the Tesco delivery tomorrow. I need to be up at the crack of dawn as D is taking Alan to an early gastro appointment at Dundee so I'll be in charge of getting the delivery. Lauren coming to do my nails at 9am. Think I might choose some sparkle polish for Christmas.
Planning to start wrapping pressies tomorrow but now must get the Tesco order done!
