An ordinary life....

Kitchen capers...

Doorbell rang at 7.10am.  It was the tumble drier being delivered.  Three hours later and the hall was full of appliances.  Nick was here at 9am getting the electrics sorted and the units built.

I had an appointment with the pelvic physio at PRI.  She was fantastic and we had a very informative discussion about many things, including how my large fibroid is compromising my bladder and being a major cause of my UTIs.  She's given me exercises to do but says the hard work will begin post surgery.  She was able to tell me that all being well, my surgery should take place within the next three months!

Home to organised chaos and get prepared for a flying visit from LeeAnne.

A fabulous catch up and exchange of gifts.  She is such a thoughtful gifter and I was astounded and moved by the beauty and generosity of her gifts, including the most beautiful footstool she made for me.  Can't wait to see it in situ when the new sofas arrive.

Dinner of rich beef stew and D's delicious mash.  Yum :-) followed by an evening of blethers.  A welcome break in a very busy week.
