Over the hill road

in the van with cat related errands, calling in to see several people. The view in both direction was beautiful, I left rain in Dervaig when heading out and met it on the return drive. This is one of my favourite roads,  there is usually something of interest to see, today was good with two kestrels, deer, a rainbow and highland cows with their young. And when almost home a sparrow hawk.  

Once home a pleasant surprise to see we had a visitor bearing gifts in the form of food and as always a good chat followed. We cooked the gifts immediately leaving them to cool.  A quick late lunch and off to deliver the last cake to a couple in the village. They are away on Friday to stay with family, a lovely hour catching up on village life.   And home,
