Reindeer at Claremont NT gardens!
A quick swim this morning and then went with my husband to Claremont NT gardens for a walk as quite sunny, and also to check out the Christmas garden trail to see if it would be good for the grandchildren. The trail was good…10 stations each with a box to open which and info and artefacts related to one aspect of a traditional Christmas. So this was for reindeer.
Very surprised how few people were there as the cafe is usually very busy late morning.
Picked up grandson from school as his mum was taking his twin sister to Chelsea Football training ground at Cobham as she is now on their Girls Academy Emerging Talent programme for next term after a trial period this term. The youngest and smallest girl but with lots of energy and so keen on football too.
I took him to sing carols with the Richmond Brass Band playing by the Christmas tree in Hampton Wick. I was impressed he knew the words of three of the carols which he remembered from his school concert last week. I think I learnt some of the traditional carols when at junior school.
