The Mother He Formed
Highlight of day was going to see Eden be an angel in her playgroup Nativity play. All really well done, and Deb did the talk, which ended by giving each child one of these candles to remind them that they can ask Jesus to help them when they are frightened in the dark. Could take photos, but not publish on the internet, so this was afterwards, when she'd lost the tinsel from round her head.
As well as the Playgroup Nativity in the main building, there was an open coffee morning for folk to drop in for free drinks and chat, a room was being set up for a Christmas meal for another group, Food Bank was in full flow, plus all the office folk.
All the family round for beans and rice tonight at ours, then short bout of babysitting Allegra - Deb doing her third talk of the day at a Divorce Recovery group. Came back to find folk doing a pub quiz, which I joined in on - Paul and Felicity, who watch University Challenge for fun, won easily, though Julia was the star on music from the 2010's (of which I know almost nothing).
