Good Things

Looking from the outside to yesterday's inside, and at opposite end of the day. Hopeless at photos again today - this was a phone snap as I raced into our town centre, where I didn't get what I was after, but did get a gorgeous Nativity pop-up book for Eden. Our church is used almost constantly for one thing or another, no idea what was going on as I passed.

Shopping earlier in Sainsbury's, was astounded at the lack of variety of fresh vegetables and fruit, and the awful prices - if you want to eat healthily, folks, go live in Portugal! Plenty of very fancy Christmas foods, like cheeses arranged to look like a Christmas tree, but a dearth of locally grown ordinary food at reasonable prices. No wonder so many need to use our church's food bank.

Which segues nicely into Mary's Voice today: He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. (Luke 1v53) There are many kinds of hunger, and those with full bellies can often be starving. Today's video.
