At The Dentist

Last night I slept incredibly well and didn't wake up until nearly 10 AM. That said, I had been aware of Minstrel playing and climbing the bedroom curtain like a kitten around half an hour previously.

Our six monthly dental checkup is today and we're there at the moment. They're very quiet but that may be due to my dentist being off sick! I'll have to come back in the New Year to see him. Until today I thought Brian had the same dentist as me, but his appointment has been as normal.

My hygienist appointment went well. Brian's in with her right now.

I saw this cute ornament on the reception desk and decided to make it my Blip for the day since it's not really got light at all today.

I was expecting my last day at work to be Friday but my boss has been ordered to rest by her doctor and won't be opening the van. It will do her good, she has had one bug after another recently. She's normally the sort of person who has to be on the go all the time, but at least she should be able to slow down a bit..

Brian and I now have three, possibly four days to finish food shopping and clean the house thoroughly in preparation for the girls arriving at the weekend.
