Birthday lunch...

D's birthday isn't till tomorrow but he's made a weekend of it :-)

Agnes and Adrian stayed over.  Ele and Kenny were invited last night but couldn't make it, so we arranged to get together for lunch at Broadslap Farm cafe.  Agnes and Adrian were able to come along too.

Met at 1pm on a pretty miserable day but there's something lovely about being in a nice eatery with lovely views, and feeling all cosy looking out to the windswept and rainy landscape.

After lunch we headed back to ours and Lola was beside herself with all the attention.  She went round everyone making sure they got some Lola love, and of course leaving behind her golden glitter on everyone's trousers.  Must remember to buy more lint rollers when we're in Ikea next week! :-)

Everyone left just after 6pm.  D and I were still full from lunch so ended up just having tea and a bagel for supper.

Early to bed to be up bright and early for Nick, the kitchen fitter, arriving in the morning to get organised for fitting the team's kitchen.  Exciting :-)
