Lost and Found

There was sunshine first thing this morning. It felt almost spring-like in the mild air with the birds singing all around. I was out on a walk in the village retracing the route of yesterday afternoon’s dog walk in the hope of finding a glove I thought I’d lost whilst walking. I didn’t find it on this occasion but later discovered it carefully placed on a street sign not far from where I thought I may have dropped it. I’m most grateful to the person who thoughtfully put it there. They are a simple but useful pair of gloves.

The rest of the day has been spent walking Merlin, making hummus, coleslaw and bread, and various other bits and bobs. Not bad for a Monday.
