Windy day!

I managed to walk down to the Isthmus on Derwentwater today - it was blowing a hooley, though wearing wellies, I did manage to wade out a few feet without the waves completely breaking over the tops. A little stopper allowed the water to smooth off just a little, keeping a little texture in it. It was about the only moment of the day when the Sun almost peeked out from behind the clouds, giving some detail in the sky and a little reflection off the dark rocks.
