Christmas Bells

It was a bit of a grey day in London but I started the day with a visit to my friends allotment for a tour. When I was here last year it was newly acquired so they were proud to show off the progress - although this summer was mostly blighted by the weather and slugs!
Then I just had a bit of time to nip into the city centre to do the tourist thing - The Lights. I only managed Leicester Square and Covent Garden but that was enough. Fabulous decorations - and lots of people.
In the early evening we headed across town to meet another pal and then a drive down to Portsmouth for the ferry to Caen. It’s a year since I’ve seen both friends so great to catch up.
