Wasteful

Hubby had a fall...it happens...he needed a visit to the hospital to have his head injury dressed, and they sent us home with some spare dressings and a pair of scissors, which were opened from their sterile packet to cut the dressing. They said the scissors were disposable as they were no longer sterile...what happened to autoclaves? No wonder the NHS struggles to make ends meet!
