Diamonds

Our last night at the holiday cottage was eventful.  S was very ill during the night and still suffering in the morning.  I packed up everything and tidied up.  I tried to see if we could stay on for a couple of hours to give him time to recover enough to travel but the cottage was booked again for the weekend.  
We left with about 20 minutes to spare before official kicking out time and I drove home.  Luckily S made it back without any further episodes and was just about able to help with the navigation. He went to bed as soon as we got home and slept for the rest of the day.  
I spent the afternoon with my crochet diamonds and radio 4. 
Not quite the end to the holiday that we'd planned.
