Trimmings

Our night out yesterday was actually really good fun. As tempting as it had been to stay at home on the sofa with book, cat and wine, I was glad I made the effort to run the straighteners over my hair, put clothes on that I could be seen wearing in public and go out. The band were good, the atmosphere convivial, and I discovered gooseberry gin! Probably had a few too many of those...

Consequently it was not too early a start this morning and we didn't do a great deal. Well, I didn't. Brian went out to look for a Blip, but I was still eating my breakfast and happily stayed at home.

We are at Jeri's now. This is some of the decorations in the lounge. We just had a tasty curry, and pudding to come... It's so lovely and festive here....

Best of all, we've just watched Manchester United win the Manchester derby. At the Etihad!! It was awesome!
