Two church Sunday

Some of you will already have seen this foliage arch at our church door in Harden, it went up about 10 days ago and has been posted by a couple of village blippers.
Like a similar one we had last year it endured a storm just a few days after it’s erection and today being very mild was very blustery which it seems to have survived yet again. 
Beautifully done by our friends at Woodbank garden centre, well done to them, so worth seeing again on my blip today.

We’re were back in church this afternoon for our annual Carol Service. For the second year we have held it in the afternoon rather than it’s usual evening slot and it seems to have worked. We had a good sized congregation and included some younger families. Two delightful little girls twirled their way through all the carols. Our vicar said that those of us at the front were getting a ballet show as well as a concert!

Glad it’s over for another year, we ( the choir) only did two songs but there’s always an element of stress and thise Carlos seem to be getting higher as I get older never mind the descants!
