Blue Skies and Orange Leaves

I waited for the sun to come out after a dull start to the day. The blue sky was so gorgeous and these orange leaves, still hanging on, looked so pretty in contrast.

I did quite a lot of balcony gardening, trimming plants, protecting roots from night frosts on the more delicate ones.  It was also necessary to give the whole balcony a big sweep.

Sunday is such a strange day. I have a love/hate relationship with it!  It seems to lack structure and just floats along. Thank goodness for good books and little cats and crochet and walks and sunshine!
