Mulled Wine Downtown

We had arranged to meet my daughter downtown after her work to go and drink some hot mulled wine down in the Christmas market. There was a joyful and relaxed atmosphere, but it was really cold sitting outside! We found a vacant gondola-type ski lift in which to drink our hot drinks.

There was a lighted Christmas tree with rides and the nearby church looking pretty as the sky darkened and the lights became more apparent.

Now my son has returned to Toronto and his wife to celebrate her birthday on Sunday, just six days after his. My daughter has gone back to her busy social life and we'll get together again with my grandson on Christmas Day.
