Numbers

This is a good day. This is what family life ought to be like. Bean and Bear off out with Steve this morning (Bear was almost beside himself at the mere thought that he might not be going to watch Bean swim) for Bean's swimming lesson; reading dinosaur books with daddy on the sofa; and naptime snuggles for me and Bear while Bean and daddy go off to the museum together to see the dinosaur zoo exhibition. And then, finally getting the house number sign, that's only taken me four months to finally get finished, up on the wall!

I love that Bear loves his daddy so much. I'm so grateful for the time that Steve's had to be able to bond with his boys over the last year. I love that at any given moment, Bear can decide he wants one particular parent and that it's pretty equal who it might be! I love that this afternoon Bean asked for a cuddle with me, and then drew Steve into the cuddle as well. And I love that when Bear came in and demanded a cuddle too, he ran into Steve's arms when he offered his cuddling services!
