On The Road …. Headed Home

Not much to see really from the windows of a car travelling down the motorway(s) so todays photograph is of the ‘Dandy Lion’ of Elgin, the full description can be found in the extra photo.
We were up and away early, all five of us in two cars heading for MacLeans for breakfast at 6:00am. Bit ‘nippy’ eating breakfast in the car park in -3* but before long Mrs S, Sam, Paddy and I were heading south for home.
The journey home always feels longer and indeed today it was, traffic in the midlands busy as always but we were home by 9:30pm tired but glad to be back.
A McDonalds at our last stop meant no need to cook so it was tea or coffee and an early night.
