keepcup your spirits: it's phinally Phriday
An early start meant I had a decent ride into town to the office again. Twice in one week! But since I had errands to do after work – and, as it turned out, much traffic jamming – I reverted to Mirabel the Green Bike. I spent all morning redoing some analysis that I thought I had finished last week, which meant rewriting big chunks of my briefing paper as well. I think it's done now, though, and to be honest, I think it's better too.
A few odd tasks took up the rest of the short afternoon and then I escaped nice and early to buy some Christmas cards, and then had a peek in a bookshop for a book a friend mentioned. I say 'a' bookshop, because said friend said it was 'the bookstore' and I don't know what that means, so I assumed it was the shop nearest her work. Nothing was obvious though, so I resumed my commute. Unphortunately the only phonebox I thought to photograph today was one I passed this morning, and in my Christmas card buying excitement I phorgot all about it. It will be there phor another day though. So it was that I dragged myself up the hills and homewards for tea.
I am happy and relieved to report that the Christmas tree chez Arell is now up and decorated!
