harbour.
Whitehaven harbour, once a busy industrial port importing rock for use in the Marchon chemical works (made washing powder.) This factory was at Kells and now demolished. This site was where the new coal mine would have been sunk. This shows the marina with 'the crow's nest' standing proud; plus the old lookout standing behind various coloured lights and reflections. To the right you will find the infamous orange water. What you won't see are the two towers used to house that rock, they too have been removed.
Physio on Monday. Have a good weekend and just maybe I'll get out and about.
