Castle.

I hope you don't mind this is another back Blip of Carlisle Castle, a castle that has seen some history in days gone by.  A different photo from Lake District ones, but a very impressive one standing stout and squat.  I like the 'setts' laid out regularly matching the stonework of the castle.  Apparently there are examples of 'historical graffiti' on the castle 'keep,' found when that part of the castle was being revitalised.
