Packed my things and got in the Ds car for the long journey home. It was slow to start with so we lost some time . Arrived at my house and loaded A’s chair into Ds car. She headed off to mk and I got changed , bought some wine etc and set off to mk in my car. Arrived at DF’s for a cup of tea snd a chat and then went over to Ks for an enjoyable Christmas book group. It was lovely to see everyone again and the food, decorations and gifts were fab. Left about 10.30 - roadworks and closures meant I didn’t get home until 12.30. Worth it though!
