over the mountains

it came as a surprise - a sudden glow in the sky - that made me jump - with my phone to rush - to get a quick snap - before it faded away - because i could just tell - it was one of - those which wasn’t going to - last long at all - and sure enough no sooner had - i snapped a few shots - than did the clouds begin - to disperse as though - they’d never been there at all

yet here is proof that - abba once more stretched - out his hand to paint - the sky with a rich golden - hue in the clouds - very concentrated color for us to - enjoy in a butterscotch sort - of way over the mountain range - but it works to say goodnight - and know it’s been…
