Christmas Trees

I would have loved a lie in today, but alas it wasn’t to be. I headed in to Edinburgh to catch the 09:15 train to Glasgow.

I then jumped on the subway, emerging at Kelvin Bridge. I had arranged to meet BB for brunch. I wandered along to the cafe, only to receive a message from BB that he was just leaving his flat, and that he would meet me at the Botanic Gardens. I kept walking and did meet up with him. We then walked back to the cafe, and really enjoyed our brunch. BB had a pile of pancakes and lots of accoutrements. I had homemade hash brown with salad and an egg. It was delicious.

BB wanted to go for a walk, to walk off his brunch. We walked over to Kelvingrove Park, and walked around. We continued our walk to the GU campus. I left BB at the library, and I popped into the Hunterian Gallery for a look around. I then wandered along Byres Road, picking up a few bits and pieces, before walking back into the centre of Glasgow to catch my head home. It had been very grey and sat, and the rain had started.

I eventually made it home. I had twenty minutes to get myself changed and ready for a night out. I was picked up by my friend’s husband, and C as it was a very wet evening. He dropped us outside the restaurant. We had a lovely meal and catch up. We got pretty wet though, as we walked home.

BB had appeared home, and he and TT we’re watching a movie when I got home.

These decorations are to be found in George Square. The extra shows a lovely twelve days of Christmas decoration in a shop window.
