Primrose the reindeer

Today we have visited the Primrose Hospice Day Centre. Not for any of the reasons that hospices are normally visited but because they offer a great range of activities for those living with live changing conditions and their carers. We had an assessment today and were told about the different day centre activities they offer, the alternative therapy and wellbeing activities that would be available to both of us and the advice services available. They are going to phone us next week with a view to starting some of their offers after Christmas..

It’s quite a big day emotionally tomorrow. I have to go to see the audiologist in the morning to sort out a hearing aid for my left ear and by the time I get home, Louie and his Mommy and Daddy will probably have vacated their house opposite us to go to a house a few miles away closer to the village school they are hoping Louie will start at in September…
