Yes, last night’s photo. It was a great concert. Well, the band were great - though I won’t be adding them to my playlists any time soon - too raucous. But our seats weren’t the best. We had annoying folk all around us, always going out for more drinks, and the folk behind us were standing up dancing, but not much room, so kept bumping my seat, the woman next to me had beer spilt down her neck by the dancers, and three girls right at the front kept standing up dancing.
The large chap playing the trombone, who started off wearing a coat (and a skirt) danced about on stage between his musical interludes, and ended up in his vest and pants - he was a real Showman.
Today we went for lunch to a local cafe we haven’t been to for ages. And it was great. I had the most divine bread and butter pudding (as well as a delicious roast turkey roulade with veges). Archie came too. (Extra)
JR took Archie for a long walk in the afternoon and came back with an armful of greenery she found somewhere, then spent the rest of the afternoon trying to revive last year’s door wreath. I dozed read the papers (and X) to the accompaniment of my Christmas piano playlist - nothing raucous!
