….up early for the train, which didn’t arrive, but the next one did. I was also sidestepped by the recent removal of three ATMs in the city centre. I understand the growing concern about the removal of access to cash to people who rely on it.

Next I joined EcoDad and Meles as they were doing a deal over the good stuff*, in plain sight, in the Portrait Gallery. My presence was good cover no doubt. Then EcoDad and I braved the gauntlet of the Xmas Market to reach a bench overlooking the gardens, for a natter. Always a pleasure.

Next to Abbeyhill to meet Owen in his gaff as he nervously sat waiting for the result of his end of year exams. Shortly after I arrived, the email arrived to congratulate him on a Pass. Cue Xmas celebrations!

Tonight I’m popping along to Scouts for their final meeting of the year and then hopefully a couple of beers after.
