OCAD evening

I just finished writing a test for the OCAD course I am taking on visual culture. The course has a focus on critical theory. I thought the lingo and approach were nauseating at first, but now I am finding them fascinating. Everything I look at, especially photographs, seems to have layers and layers of meaning. Ah, the gloss of a little knowledge . . . Anyway, came out of the lecture and test, evening light to the south and this picture seemed to capture the essence of that moment for me. I asked the student smoking the cigarette if he was ok with being in the picture - he agreed!
