Stick Lum Street
A fine mackerel sky above North Street, Rosehearty. This is probably the oldest street in Rosehearty and was once known as 'Stick Lum' Street because the fishermen who lived here were said to have had wooden chimneys - not being able to afford clay pots. The houses were built gable end to the sea so that as little of them as possible was exposed to the worst of the weather.
