Winter morning, Argyll

The wall is part of a ruin that is marked on the Pont map of the area dating from the late 16th century.   The hills are much older....!

The flag pole is the most recent addition , and the whole thing sometimes catches not just the eye (as this morning walking up to the study) but also one's breath given how beautiful it can be.
