Tiny Soldier
I ordered two lenses from B&H over the weekend, both delivered today. I got a reconditioned 70-180 which will be my go-to lens for dog events. And I decided on the spur of the moment to get a 50mm f1.8. I rarely used my last "nifty fifty", but as my photography is changing, I think I will use this fast little lens quite a lot. I decided to try another ornament with the tree lights in the background. I shot this wide open at f1.8, holding the ornament in front of the lens, about 2 feet from the tree. And since the ornament is less than 2 inches in height, I think it qualifies as "tiny!"
We woke up to thick fog this morning and while the fog finally lifted, it remains gloomy and overcast outside. My solution for that was to turn the tree lights on, which has made the living room feel so warm and inviting.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with my audiologist to get my new Cochlear bone-anchored hearing device programmed. I paired it with my iPhone today but need the audiologist to do all the fine tuning and set the programs. I've had a "loaner" for a couple of months, but it isn't programed so I don't get the full benefit from it. Hopeful!
I think perhaps dark with cayenne today...
