Light and Shade…..

This is the view I see every morning as I join the concrete path at Purkiss Street and walk into the Taylor River Reserve proper. Doctors Creek is on the right of the path. Here the Creek water is running towards its confluence with the Taylor River. I photographed the scene when Maisie and I were near the end of our walk.
Daughter Margaret flew in to Marlborough late last night. She is here for a few days and we have been busy. Into town for some tasks, lunch, browsed in the library then off to Wairau Hospital where I had an appointment. It was a warm balmy evening so Margaret, Maisie and I walked to Sheps Park. It is a popular place for folk and their dogs and although it was fairly late in the day, there were numbers of dogs and their owners having fun there.
