Tewksbury floods again
Although Storm Darragh was predominantly noticed for the strength of its wind it also brought significant rainfall. As that water falls on saturated ground the rivers rise and Tewksbury at the confluence of Avon with Severn is familiar with floods like today’s. We were here this morning finalising fittings for our kitchen refurbishment. It was still extremely cold. I had an executive lead team meeting in town this rainy evening.
