Next Door’s Light Show

View from the kitchen window of my neighbour’s house lit up for Christmas like Blackpool illuminations.

Slept on and off most of the day as I’ve come down with the lurgy. Sneezing and sniffling like a trooper.

Dinner was cheese and crackers and a mince pie as I had no energy to cook. Made myself an immunity boosting tonic from a recipe I saw on Instagram. I adapted it to ingredients I had as follows:

1/2 apple sliced
1/2 orange sliced
1/2 lemon sliced
1 tsp honey
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 Cinnamon stick
1 star anise
Sprinkle nutmeg
Sprinkle rosemary
1 tsp caramel syrup
Shot of whiskey
Hot water
