Christmas Cards by the fire

Braved the weather this morning to drive to my hair colour appointment back in Bethersden village.

Afterwards a trip to the post office to post cards to family and my friend in Prague. Turns out last recommended postal date for Czech Republic was 28 November but hoping it arrives on time.

Sat by the pub fire to write the rest of my Christmas cards. Enjoyed a flat white and slice of homemade Victoria sponge cake. As I was leaving I bumped into a couple of friends I’ve not seen in ages. We had a cheeky glass of wine and catch up.

Quick shop in the village store afterwards for a couple of Christmas gifts and a piece of lamb rump and veggies for dinner tomorrow.

Back home and a few phone calls then fish pie for supper and some knitting while watching telly. Seem to have developed a sore throat, headache, sneezes and sniffles so fear I’ve caught the cold going around.
