Gazing from Forest & Flock

I went to write my Christmas cards this morning and found I had forgotten to buy any! Doh. I nipped into Bantry and bought some in Forest & Flock, very nice birdy ones painted by a local woman. This is the view from their coffee area, recently vacated, out into the main street. Two other street views in the extras for Mono Monday- the rather deserted road is the main one through Bantry usually very busy with traffic but the elegant houses  (when you look at them) on each side of the road are mainly derelict which is pretty shocking. They are nice colours though but I'm out of extras, already busily recycling.

The day was cold and crisp and incredibly bright and we went down to Doneen for a brisk and wild walk. We met no one, only sheep and a snipe.
