St Swithun's Street
St Swithun's Street crosses infront of the Kingsgate arch and runs up the outside wall of Dome Alley (essentially the Cathedral Close). It's a little piece of Winchester I really love but it was only blipping it today I realised just how wonky it is in a geometric sense. Nothing is quite at right angles to anything else and everything leans a bit this way and that, so despite a major struggle with photoshop it all still looks lopsided - which it is!
A rather unpleasant dark grey, cold and damp day, not really much rain, just everything soggy. I've felt a bit cold and damp too, and stupid, forgetful and creaky. The exercises the very nice hospital physio has given me just seem to make things worse and unless there's a sudden shift I will have to tell her so on Wednesday - oh dear ;( Meanwhile the leaky dog - a bit mad but sweet it has to be said - has gone home so my bookcases are no longer in danger. So there we are, life progresses..
Many thanks to McCaviti for hosting today's MM on the subject of 'Street'.
And have a good evening, all xx
