Aftermath

Today was meant to be full-on Darragh but was really more the aftermath - water in the wind but not proper rain.  Not really proper wind either, not like yesterday, but it was very cold.  This shot was taken at the west end of the Broadway and was one of those where you're just messing about to see what happens - like in the days of film when there was only one shot left and you wanted to finish the roll so you could develop the rest.  This looks like an evening shot but was taken around lunchtime with the exposure stopped right down.  Messing about!

What I actually meant to do was take shots in the Xmas Market round the back of the Cathedral.  One of you asked me if it was closed yesterday and I  confirmed with a security guard that it had been.  Today it was open, but to be honest it was rather empty with a freezing zephyr getting into all the crannies ;-D

Nuts to that, I thought, and came home!

In the next few days I really must start doing some Christmas shopping!
