Derwentwater

So … we finished our Winter Walk for Shelter with a very nippy swim in the lake. It was occasionally wild and windy and it turned a bit drizzly at the end but mostly we had good weather. As we feared, the path to the Chinese Bridge was well flooded and the bridge cut off so we had to do a bit of creative extra mileage to navigate back to it (extras), the place of my first ever blip, and then completed the circuit…
