Tidying up the garden
It was still windy today but not wild and I got some washing out on the lines. I started the clear-up in the gardens and driveway - there was a lot more than I'd thought and the garden waste bin is almost half full - although it's in a poly bag in the bin since it won't get collected till spring and I don't want a congealed mess in there by that time. We'll empty it into the bin before the first collection.
It was mainly small branches but there were a few bigger ones strewn around the gardens and drive. There were some leaves but not a lot. I went to pick up some leaves from the garden beside the drive and put my (gloved) hand in soggy cat poo. Glove binned. This particular cat is a pain as it poos in the plants, the low-growing flowering shrubs - right in the centre and then the middle part rots. I put stuff down but you can't keep deterrent there as it's too costly with all the garden space we have.
The photo is of one of our jasmines which is in a planter in the back garden. Its leaves seem to be a deeper red every day at present.
I'm very glad the storm has passed.
