Morning walk……..

……..Moor Hall Estate and Golf Course.
After all the wildness and deluge of yesterday and evening, and on through the night, the day dawned a little more calm here and dry first thing.
As it wasn’t forecast to last, Stephen once more drove us to the access road behind the hotel, and we walked through the estate on the drive, which can be used by the public, which cuts through the golf course. It was closed today for obvious reasons,
It is a lovely walk, passing the hotel along the way, pictured.
The course greens are either side of the drive, which at one point is over hung by trees, making a lovely green canopy in Spring and summer.
I so enjoyed myself. I am now doing well with my one crutch. 5 weeks today since I came home from hospital.
We watched the second Sunday in Advent service from our church on-line after lunch. It is live-streamed at 10:30am, but can be watched anytime after it has been uploaded on to YouTube.
I have watched most of the service for the opening of Notre Dame on YouTube. It was incredibly moving.
The only bizarre sight being the nameless convicted felon sitting with President Macron and alongside the Prince of Wales.
